Following the Apostolic calling of St. Peter, we as parishioners, endeavor to be Christian witnesses of Jesus Christ. In celebration, we come together to share as the Body of Christ through worship and sacraments. In service, we are challenged to reach out to those in need. In education, we invite all members to enrich and deepen their journey of faith. Aware of our strengths and limitations, it is then what we are enabled to share our faith with others as a caring, healing, Christian community. This is our Mission. This is our prayer.
“The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the church is directed; it is also the fount from which all power flows.” Sacrosanctum Concillium, Vatican Council II, 1963.

Shepherds of Christ Ministry
The primary focus of this group is the circulation of a spiritual newsletter mainly to priests. The second focus is to pray for the needs of priests, the Church, and the world. Other programs include promoting the act of consecration to the hearts of Jesus and Mary; praying the rosary, which includes a special program regarding the rosary and the act of Consecration for school children; encouraging residents of prisons and nursing homes to pray for priests, the Church, and the world; and publishing books, cassette tapes, and other materials to help ongoing work of spiritual renewal. The mission is closely connected to Our Lady of Fatima’s mission. They hope to lay a major role in helping to bring fulfillment of the Peace Plan of Our Lady of Fatima. There are levels of commitment, which range from “Associates” who meet and pray once a month, to “Handmaids of the Good Shepherd” (women) and “Servants of the Good Shepherd” (men) who live in community. Contact Eileen Romie at 235-1251.
Ultreya
The Ultreya is a support group for the people who have made a Cursillo Weekend. The group meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The members share with one another ways in which Christ is present in their lives. The members encourage each other in the perseverance of Christian life, in spiritual improvement and in ministry. Contact Sue Coyle at 602-6022.
World Apostolate of Fatima
World Apostolate of Fatima is an international association of the Roman Catholic Church with Vatican recognition. We promote the message of prayer, penance, and Eucharistic reparation that our Blessed Mother gave to the three children at Fatima for the whole world. We promote Holy Hours, the Rosary and Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We make rosaries, brown scapulars, and maintain a pamphlet rack in the vestibule of the church that offers free literature on Fatima, as well as blessed rosaries and scapulars. Contact Jean Schons at 233-2197.
