In St. Peter Youth Ministry, we aim to seek the face of Christ and invite teens to join us in our seeking. Through shared prayer, community, and discussion of our faith, we endeavor to grow deeper in our relationship with God.
High School: This ministry provides opportunities to build up our parish’s high school youth group community through periodic social events (laser tag, escape rooms, bowling, etc.), small group discussions, service, retreats/conferences, and our weekly large group gatherings. In this, we both share the fun of authentic friendships and grow through conversation about real topics. We cover many topics relevant to the faith of teens today from personal prayer and Scripture to hot button issues.
Junior High: Youth Ministry seeks to complement the faith formation provided by St. Peter’s school and religious education programs through events like Disciples of Christ (DOCs) and small group bible studies. These activities strive to combine the joys of community (games, pizza, etc.) with the excitement of learning who Christ is.
Volunteers: Youth Ministry is only meaningful when the teens have adults willing to witness their own faith journey (in whatever stage it may be) through their sharing of their time, energy, and self. If you have any interest in supporting St. Peter Youth Ministry, please reach out to Nick Clune.
